The Friends of Lane Memorial Library will hold their annual book sale October 15–17, 2026.
A Friends Day Presale will take place Thursday, October 15, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., with a minimum $10 donation at the door. The public sale will be held Friday, October 16, from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., followed by a $10 Bag Sale on Saturday, October 17, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Fill a heavy-duty tote all the way to the zipper for just $10, or purchase individual books at half price. Shoppers will find hardcovers for $2, paperbacks for $1 and children’s books for 50 cents, along with CDs, DVDs, sheet music, vintage and autographed books, coffee-table books and more.
“Blind Date with a Book” packages—gift-quality wrapped books featuring fun clues about the genre and a few added surprises—will also be available for donations of $10 or more, just in time for the holidays. Cash, checks, Venmo, Apple Pay and credit or debit cards will be accepted. Come browse, discover some wonderful reads and support Lane Memorial Library!
